We’re keeping the celebration going with a few days in Taormina, Sicily!
Taormina is the cutest hilltop town with views of Mount Etna on one side and the coastline on the other. It’s incredibly walkable, full of great restaurants and bars, and just a quick cable car ride away from the beach!
getting there
We are planning on taking the 1:35pm Ryanair flight from Pisa to Catania on Monday, June 1 and encourage others to book the same!
If that flight becomes full, there are two other nonstop flights that day - one at 6:15am (yuck) and the other at 5:40pm (boo) so book asap!
Hotel
Villa Schuler
We’ll be staying at Hotel Villa Schuler, a beautiful and historic boutique hotel right in the heart of Taormina.
Important note: the hotel is small and fills up quickly, especially in early June, so if you’d like to stay there with us, we highly recommend booking your room as soon as possible.
That said, if you’d prefer a different hotel or Airbnb, feel free to book elsewhere - we just recommend staying on or very close to Corso Umberto, the city’s main pedestrian street, so you can easily walk to everything.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
We have big things in the works!
Get excited for a boat day, beach clubs, and potentially a cooking class or wine tasting. For those inclined, there may be a hike or two — and for anyone who’s not, plenty of relaxing pool time instead.
In between, expect fun group meals, spontaneous plans, and downtime to explore the city.
Nothing is mandatory — come for everything, or just pick and choose your favorites.
